Bike hire

Avoid the hassle of breaking down and packing your bike, and the cost of transporting…just bring your own helmet, pedals and shoes and you’re good to go.

We have a range of Trek Madone 3.1 full carbon bikes, available for hire. They are spec’d with Compact 50/34 chainset and 10-speed Shimano 105 STI shifters and rear derailleur. The cassette is 12-30 for the optimum climbing set-up.

Powertap hire

If you want to train with power, or are interested to establish your power profile whilst out here, we have a single Powertap wheel available to hire. Built with a Mavic Open Pro 32-hole rim, it comes with 10-speed Campag (29-12) or Shimano/SRAM (28-12) freehub and cassette. Bring your own ANT+ head unit (e.g. Garmin), or rent a Garmin 705 from us.

Garmin 705

The Garmin 705 displays all the usual bike computer information including HR and power (you will need the relevant ANT+ device); plus, download a GPS route and it will provide turn-by-turn instructions and detailed mapping.

Bike concierge service

If you’d rather ride your own bike but not have the hassle of building the bike on arrival and breaking down and packing them away on departure, the guys from our great local bike shop – Cycles Camellini – will do it for you. Subject to availability and shop opening hours.

Bike repairs

Cycles Camellini is a terrific local bike shop, and they will do everything to get you back on the road. Even if you don’t need their services, the shop is a great place to visit and drool over top-of-the-range bikes by Pinarello and Trek…you can even see the bike on which Julien Camellini’s grandfather won a stage of the Tour de France in the 1950s!

Spares

We stock a small range of essentials available for sale: tubes, tyres, chain lube, bars and gels. For more major items, Cycles Camellini will oblige.

Sports massage

Soothe tired and sore muscles with a sports massage from Jean Christophe, a soigneur whose references include Team Astana, Team Cofidis, Philippe Gilbert, Thor Hushovd, Laurent Jalabert, Richard Virenque and Alexandre Vinokourov. You’re in good hands!

Van support on rides

Some of our longer trips use our 9-seater van to get further afield, but it can also be used on shorter trips if you wish, whether that is to provide support through carrying kit or nutrition that you don’t want to have to carry yourself all day, or by loading the bikes into the bus and driving inland.
